Welcome to the first issue of our practice newsletter.
Hopefully you won't need to visit the practice too often in the coming months, so our occasional newsletters will help to keep you in touch with our latest news and developments.

Thank you from all of us for your support over the past year - it is what has made our first twelve months in our new premises such a success.
Everyone seemed to like last years Christmas card of Claire and John so we thought we'd have one with all the team this time!

As you'll see below, the card will be out of date before long as our team continues to expand, allowing us to continually develop the care and service we offer.

NEW ARRIVALS

Estelle gave birth to a healthy baby boy on 5th November. Benjamin Ashton James Elias weighed in at 8lbs 14oz.  Mother and baby are doing well.  We look forward to welcoming Estelle back in February 2002 when she will be available for hygienist treatment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Congratulations to Estelle and her husband Grant.

JANE SHROWDER jointed us a hygienist in September when Estelle stared her maternity leave.  Jane has proved to be a very popular and effective hygienist and we are very please to say she has agreed to stay on as a permanent member of our team.  Jane is available for hygienist treatment on Thursdays.

GILES KIDNER is a consultant Orthodontist at Stoke Mandeville and John Radcliffe Hospitals.  He is also a regional postgraduate dental tutor.  Giles will be visiting the practice on Tuesdays afternoons and evenings to offer Orthodontic advice and treatment for both children and adults on a private basis.  He is able to straighten teeth using all the latest options in orthodontic treatment, including tooth coloured braces and hidden "lingual" appliances.  Giles can also see patients from other practices requiring orthodontic advice or treatment.

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND.... Now that her son is at school for more hours, Claire is able to offer more appointment times.  In addition to Mondays and Wednesdays, she will now be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays during school term time.
